Need to update your entire company’s directory? I can come directly to your office in Glasgow or the surrounding areas to capture consistent, high-quality headshots of your whole team with minimal disruption to your workday.
Environmental / Outdoor
If a traditional studio background doesn't fit your brand, we can shoot in your work environment or take your session outdoors. There are no limits on how to create modern, dynamic portraits that stand out in your industry.
My Approach to Corporate Photography
showing you on your best day
My photography style isn't overly edited or filtered. I believe the most impactful look is natural and real (well, with some editing to show you on your best day).
I understand that stepping in front of a camera can be daunting, so my priority is creating a relaxed environment where you can enjoy the process and forget about whatever makes you uncomfortable.
Whether we are shooting against a clean, classic backdrop or utilising the vibrant, urban environments of Glasgow for a modern outdoor portrait, I work with you to ensure the final images align perfectly with your industry and personal brand.

FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
There's nothing much to be concerned about. I will lead you through the process on the day. You might have some preferences or ideas to try out, or there might be some guidance from your organisation on how the photos should look that will guide the specific shoot. Broadly speaking, we will work it out on the day.

Do we have to shoot the photos in a specific style?
No, certainly not. Everyone has their own preferences (and I'm no different), so I am fully open to whatever kind of style and aesthetic you want to run with. We can go over ideas, poses, inspiration pictures, editing styles etc. in advance so we know what we're aiming for ahead of time.

Where do the headshot sessions take place?

I am based in the south side of Glasgow, but I am entirely flexible. We can shoot in a studio environment, in your workplace, or we can shoot outdoors in an urban setting. I have a portable set-up for any situation so I can bring my equipment directly to your location anywhere in Glasgow or the surrounding areas.

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
I can be fairly flexible in terms of outdoor shoots, so we can plan our shoot in advance with one eye on the weather forecasts. As the great Billy Connolly once said: "If you don't like the weather in Glasgow, wait 20 minutes."

This is one of those 'how long is a piece of string' situations. It really can vary wildly from shoot to shoot (and from subject to subject). That being said, individual sessions typically take about 30 to 60 minutes, allowing plenty of time to get comfortable and try a few different backgrounds or outfits. For team sessions, where the set-up is often more controllable and repeatable, I can efficiently photograph staff members in 5-10 minute slots.

How long does a session take?
This will vary, depending on the type of shoot. For example, if it's a corporate shoot, there might be a specific backdrop that may not agree with specific colours or patterns. In cases like this, we should be able to work this out in advance and give you specific guidance. Broadly speaking, however, I would advise you to wear something that reflects your industry and makes you feel confident. Solid colours usually work best, avoiding overly busy patterns (then again, there's no hard and fast rule). If you're unsure, feel free to bring a couple of options to your shoot!
